Tales of the Urban Fox is a picture book and story for 5-8 year olds. It relates the adventures of a family of city foxes who attempt a move to the country, finding along the way that life in both places is full of dangers. The mother fox, constantly on the lookout to provide her cubs with the best possible life, faces the problems of a multitude of mothers- what is a healthy diet? where is the best place to school children? how do being safe and being free to experience theunknown build character? The illustrations touch on such timely issues as landfill sites, the seagull problem, and recommended portions of fruit and veg.
